Cara Jackson
Senior Fellow, Research and Evidence Use
Cara Jackson is the Senior Fellow, Research and Evidence Use on the Insights Team at the Center for Outcomes Based Contracting. She leads the Center’s Learning Agenda and oversees its enactment by managing external research partners, conducting internal research and evaluation, and facilitating the Research Collaborative. Cara has conducted research on student-level interventions, including tutoring, as well as educator preparation and evaluation. She currently serves on the policy advisory boards of CALDER and SPARC, the board of EdFund, and as an Associate Editor for Education Finance & Policy, and previously served as president of the Association for Education Finance & Policy. Cara has experience working for federal and local government as well as teaching early childhood in New York City public schools and graduate level courses at American University, bringing a policy and practice perspective to her research leadership.
